Surf Photographer Scott Aichner
Scott Aichner ist well known in the surf scene - maybe not as a surfer, but as a photographer.
Born in 1970, Scott grew up in the ocean, almost. After he received his first body board in 1979, he went bodyboarding every day for years. After some years of amateur championships and later turning pro, he decided it was too less to live, and too much to die: he quit the tour and found later, by accident, what is interesting enough: a camera.

In 1991 he produced his first movie, followed soon by a second one. Catching waves and surfers with his cam, that was very fascinating to Scott. The results were promising. After moving to Hawaii, he started shooting a bodyboarding film called “Sixth Sence”. From this time on, Scott decided to do this more and more professionally: in 1999, he scored his first two covers (Surfer Magazine’s July ‘99 issue of Robin Stockwell and Riptide’s June ‘99 issue of Chispin Hughes).
He signed with Surfer Magazine and later also with other Magazines. Scott travelled around the world, Australia, Puerto Escondido, and … By 2004, Scott was a well known photographer with more then 50 cover photos
