One Year Zopilote Surf Camp

In September, we opened our spacious surf camp to everybody interested in surfing. In fact, Zopilote operates for more than a year now and looks back at months of intense surf, great guests and a wonderful time with two fantastic dogs.

We had girls and guys from Denmark, Canada, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France, USA, Australia, UK and Japan with us. We saw Iguanas at our ground, as well as scorpions, horses, monkeys, blue jays and spiders.

We had to remove the motor of our 4WD once completely, and change the tires of our bikes more than once. On travel through Costa Rica we lost a backpack, a camera, and flip-flops at the beach (all stolen).

We passed more than 3.000 hours surfing in that time, and lost only one board to a cliff; we repaired more than a dozen.

And we’re still not finished with opening coco nuts, reading the waves and walking down the beach. Pura vida and see you soon!
