Eye protection when surfing
Surfing is fun, surfing is life style. But surfing is also dangerous to your eyes because of the strong sun and light reflexion. Since the development of good sun glasses, this problem can be easily avoided, out of the water.
But what about surfers in their element? Bill Petersen, Optometrist and passionate surfer, examined the consequences of wearing lenses during surfing. He saw the danger to fry eyes and developped special dark tinted contact lenses for surfing, called Suntacts.
Suntacts can be worn by all surfers because they are also available without vision correction. Suntacts act as sun glasses and they don’t break.
