Costa Rica surfing vacation - what to bring?
Here a list of things we recommend to bring with you while visiting the Zopilote surf camp:
- sun cream
- sun glasses
- spare fins if you bring your own surf board
- plastic money (Mastercard or Visa) - just for the case: store the phone number of your card company
- if you’re travelling through Costa Rica / Central America: a first aid kit
- don’t forget your passport… mhhmm
What is not necessary, but sometimes useful:
- mosquito net (a mosquito repellent makes more sense - there are a few mosquitos also during the rainy season)
- favorite chocolate
- digital camera: there are tons of motives to capture; if you have a big SD card (1 GB), bring it with you; better: a harddrive memory like the Palm LiveDrive I use (LiveDrive german, LiveDrive english)
- make a copy of all of your documents you bring with you: passport, driving license, health pass, …
- if you bring any electrical devices, don’t forget a plug-in power adapter
What you should leave at home:
- your mobile phone - hey, you’re in vacation!
- your wet suit
- bad mood
