We reported yesterday about surfer friendly colleges, and today we tell you the story of a journalist, who’s entire life is organized around surfing too. This guy we present you is Justin Beard, columnist with TC Palm, and in his first column, he recounts his own story…

… starting surfing with 12 years, acquiring a car in highschool mostly to get to the beaches, studying journalism AND surfing twice a day (!); Justin remembers: “Surfing has pretty much dictated my life, leading me to places like Costa Rica and Mexico in search of the perfect wave.”

Now, Justin’s job is “to write about your surf adventures, contests and tips”, but we are pretty sure, he will go surfing twice a day again. That’s how it is, surfing as a way of life.
