Isaac Vega wins Surf Charity Classic

This weekend the first Century 21 Coastal Estates Charity Surf Classic finished with the win of Isaac Vega. The event in Tamarindo was about to raise community consciousness for beach and environment affairs.

Local Nicholas Viale, organized the event together with Laura Sibley and raised $30,000 in sponsored cash money, $20,000 in donated services and $15,000 in prizes. In addition, four new Lifeguard Chairs were installed on the beach at Tamarindo.

Isaac Vega, the current Costa Rican National Surf Champion, lives in Villareal, and surfs Tamarindo regularly.

Nataly Bernold won the Womens surf competition.
