Bus trip from San Jose to Zopilote Surf Camp via Mal Pais
If you arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica, by plane, you will have to take a bus to come to us. One of our guests asked:
“I will face a 6 hrs bus trip from San Jose to the surf camp, is it safe to travel with money and my baggage in the bus and inside the city?”
What we say:
About the 6 hrs bus trip: There is a new direct bus connection from San Jose (Coca-Cola bus terminal) all the way to Mal Pais (final stop) where we would pick you up. The bus drive is safe but never take your eyes of your baggage and money. This bus drive is only US$10 and it is an airconditioned bus. Timeshedule for the RODRIGUEZ HERMANOS BUS: 7:30 & 15:30 every day
Here is a short map and route description…
Update: Find further information about this trip in the post “Ferry services from Puntarenas to Paquera” from September 22, 2006.
