Surfer saves boy from riptide in Playa Hermosa

A surfer saved the life of a boy who was taking out to the open ocean by a strong riptide. Huge waves scared off people from entering the water as they watched and screamed the boy moving further out.


Evan Miller, a surfer living in Playa Hermosa, finally made it to the boy and rescued him after 15 minutes paddling to reach him.
