Liberia in Costa Rica
Zopilote surf camp is located south of the Guanacaste province in Costa Rica (click here for a map). Liberia City is the capital of this sunny province in northwest Costa Rica and the gateway to this region. It’s about 5 hours from San José by bus. In Liberia live over 35,000 people, which makes the town a center of the region.
It is pretty close to well known beaches like Playa del Coco or Playa Hermosa. Liberia has also flight connections to San José and international destinations like major cities in the US.

Main attraction here is the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park with hiking trails along volcanic activities like hot springs, bubbling clay pots and many waterfalls.
