Santa Teresa in Costa Rica
Santa Teresa is pretty close to our camp, so I will give you an idea what Santa Teresa is about and how it looks like. If you have checked our photo galleries, you may already know what I mean when I say it’s more than beautiful around Santa Teresa: great beaches, fire-red sunsets, and constant waves.
Some years ago, Santa Teresa was a small village, making the living from fishing. Now, Santa Teresa is growing thanks to surfing. Indeed, this spot gets more and more international recognition as a steady flow of fanatic surfers and beginners flock into town.
Surfing is not all you can do here in Santa Teresa, and you can walk along the beaches for a sunset or hike into the rich Costa Rican forests. But there is more about outdoor activities…
The night life varies from the season, but reggea nights are always popular among tourists and ticos. Our favorite are surf beach partys - warm nights, warm water, and some beer.
