This time, we first mention Keith Manring’s article about the “jewel in Central America”, offering ” treasures such as beaches, rain forests and wildlife”.

In his report Manring describes Costa Rica as a dream vacation, especially the Manuel Antonio National Park. This park lies at the Pacific Coast and offers exotic wildlife, lush jungle and white sand beaches. Despite rainy season in summer, that’s the season the Author (and we) recommend travelling in this country. It might be harder, but the prices for car rentals, lodges and other rates drop considerably.

As we mentioned in previous posts, the rainy season is (depending on the region) limited to a short day or night time. Some days may stay completely dry.

As passionate surfers, we propose to enjoy Costa Rica’s National Parks as well as the Pacific. There are many small and bigger Parks around the Zopilote surf camp, just far enough for a day trip. You can learn more here about Costa Rica’s nature or the surf camp surroundings.
